Flight 25 hull
Boat is almost exactly the same size as a Ford Mondeo. I collected the boat from Titisee in the Black forest (approx 600 miles from Somerset) like this, with no problems.
My 'big' mainsail, 8.2m^2, as opposed to 6.9m^2 for the standard sail
Chine starts in mast area. Note, wingmast has two sets of spreaders for the diamonds.
Very fine bow.
Titisse in Germany, where I collected te boat from. Okay, no more holiday snaps - I promise.
Standard size NS14 main. 90cm square head, 150cm foot.
2.4m^2 jib, high aspect ratio rudder.
6:1 downhaul (on flip-flop jammer), 12:1 kicker (led to helm at side), mast spanner, barber hauler cleat in foreground, foredeck mounted jib fairlead.
No thwart = more room.
Jib zips on to forestay. Halyard runs inside luff and inside a tube under the foredeck back to the cockpit.
Me, launching. Note off boom sheeting and dagger style rudder
Mind the Cherub...
Close up of jib halyard
Shroud track allows leeward shroud to be let forward on a run - enabling boom to be let out further. Deep, light, high aspect ratio daggerboard lets you point very high.

See how short the mast is:
